Got the version made for kids with the protective case. Perfect. She didn't want to let her old tablet go. She hasn't turned it on since this one arrived.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

I was very surprised how easy the Samsung Galaxy tablet was to set up and use. I also own an iPad but find the Samsung as easy to use as the iPad but it has more options then the iPad . I now use the Samsung more then the iPad ....
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

Light tablet that still gets the job done

We bought this laptop as a Christmas present for our six year old daughter. She is an avid reader, and she loves to play games. The installed kid app is nice because it does set time limits for reading anvidsrennd anvidsrennd separate one for games. We found our daughter was reading at an advanced level, so we are looking at other apps. We added other apps, such as Netflix and Hulu with no problems. Our daughter is in Heaven, and the silicone cover gives us some piece of mind.
A few drawbacks are that you need to be carful how many apps are installed. With only 8 Gb of memory, it can fill up fast, so a micro SD card is a must. The rear camera is not too amazing, and there's no front facing camera (so no video chatting with grandma), but it is great for our daughter and at a decent price.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, micro sd card slot, kids app
Cons: missing front camera, internal memory small

Performance is poor. I notice the browser pauses often. I can't tell if it is sucking up CPU, or the network interface is dropping, but it's pretty bad. Luckily, I don't depend on this for most work, I use it mostly for reading ebooks, for which it is excellent. nice size, very lightweight.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, network or cpu pauses often
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This tablet by far beats any others at a similar price. It's fast and has seamless integration from app to app. The display is bright and it has stunning colors. This tablet has met and exceeded all my expectations. It also rivals the more expensive and more powerful tabs.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, fast processor / no lag

Overall the design was simple, and with that was easy to use. Lightweight and good dimensions it wont be a problem storing it in a small satchel or purse. And with the price at a very affordable under a amount amount u wont great the bank. The draw back to this great price is the duel processor. After having multiple applications running things slow down. Other then that its easy and pretty. Just the way things should be in a complicated world.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: dual processor instead of a quad ., no front facing camera. and low quility camera

Overall very pleased with the device. I am sure it said it but graphics/resolution is greatly reduced from regular samsung tablet to which I am sure it said in the specs somewhere but that suprised me. Still good enough for kids to play apps on but if it were for me or my wife, I would spend the extra money to get the better tablet.
Also, an otterbox for a tab 3 -7" will not fit on a tab 3 - 7" lite. We found that out the night of christmas while trying to prepare the tablets for our kids....
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Not high def
