This product is used to keep a server up for a short period of time in the event of a power outage. Also used to filter power spikes. The product is very easy to setup and install. Had a couple of question concerning unit display and a couple of how to's but Tripp-Lite support was very helpful and answered all questions. I would recommend for use.
