Inadaquate Cooling

The delivery man set the controls at half cool which he said was the norm. I had put 6 48oz ice creams in the freezer and when I went to take one out a couple of days later they were all mushy. I checked the temps with thermometers checked against a clinical thermometer and found the top at 20 and the bottom at 45. I gradually raised the settings over a couple days to the max which brought the top to 15 and the bottom to 41. After that I watched the temps constantly finding that there is a huge swing in both compartments. Apparently the thermostat may be the culprit, since the bottom ranges from 38 to 43 and the top from 5 to 22 depending on the point in the sensing cycle. On max cool these temps are still not cold enough. The serviceman was unsure of the problem but has ordered a couple of parts to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat disapointing

The unit needs some help.
freezer goes to 25 below. freezes vodka and can't eat the ice cream .....
2nd visit from repairman and now we're waiting for a new thermostat. I think it's going on 3 weeks. The up side it's keeping our food cold unlike the one we had that broke!

leaks inside my fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge came installed in my mobile home 3 years ago. There is a styrofoam piece behind the temperature control inside the fridge, just below the freezer. Water pools in that area and leaks 1-2 cups of water a day. It leaks out where my fingers are in the back. No idea if that styrofoam should be there or why it leaks so much.

Smaller... with fewer features than old fridge

Alas, new fridge lacks features my old one had. Not enough door storage. Bins are too shallow & suspended cooler drawer is missing. Loud.

OK overall

This refrigerator works well. There are a few features that I wish it had, but doesn't, like a light in the freezer and front height adjustment feet or wheels. I'm not sure if the second of these issues isn't a function of getting it at a low price from a big box store... The only problem so far has been a broken handle which Frigidaire promptly replaced. This may also have been the big box delivery hacks over-tightening the screws which then stressed the plastic so I don't blame the design on that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frigidaire Not Cold!

I received my Frigidaire FFHT1814QW in late December 2015 and have discovered the unit does not keep my food adequately cool even though the unit controls are set to maximum.

Efficient

Bought this I believe in Dec. of 2015. It works well but the large handle to the refrigerator broke off when just opening it about a month ago.
