Good basic fridge

I bought this refrigerator as a second one to be kept in the garage. It works well and has good storage space in the fridge, but the space in the freezer is lacking even with no ice maker installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the shelves are very weak. they bend when placing items on them. the freezer is very small.

Problems problems

I received this a few months ago and nothing but problems. The refrigerator has constant puddles of water in it. The freezer is either too cold or too warm same with the refrigerator part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi TischlederM. Thank you for taking a moment to provide a review on your recent purchase. I understand you are experiencing moisture within your refrigerator. It is possible the vent chamber in between the freezer and fresh food sections has been used as a detour for the defrost drain water. This happens due to the freezer drain line tube having frost build up in the opening. We can recommend simply defrosting the freezer by turning the unit off and leaving the door open for approximately 30 min (this will not affect the fresh food compartment much). After defrosting the freezer, make sure there are no obstructions (i.e. food bags, boxes, containers) in the back blocking the drainage way. Adjust the Freezer dial to colder and the fresh food dial towards cold. In the event this does not resolve your concern please give us a call directly. Kindest Regards -

The freezer has been leaking water down into the refrigerator for about a month!. We acquired it at the end of July 2015. The correction has been slow -- and I am unhappy about wiping out the water in the frig for about a month now. Help!

Non-functional.

Refuses to maintain a temperature below 40 degrees, even at the coldest setting. I would not recommend this refrigerator to my worst enemy.

If the door is not completely closed there is an alarm (beeping) that sounds. This is a great feature. The length of the crisper drawers are a bit small. Other than that, this is a sound investment.

Simple clean design.

This replaced by very old, energy hogging side-by-side refrigerator. The clean white makes my small kitchen look bigger. The seal on doors very good and I find it very easy to pull the fridge out for cleaning which is great for an experienced owner (86 yrs young).
I would recommend this to a friend!
