Surprisingly good electric range

We moved back into our house after it had been a rental for many years. The original GE appliances were in good shape but dated so we upgraded them all. This was the range we chose and are quite happy with the purchase. The upper oven gets the majority of the use and it heats up VERY quickly which is nice. By choosing to go with covered baking elements we also got convection and increased functionality of the cooktop with the bridge element for things like large pans and griddles. The only complaints are the oven light is both or none, same with self-cleaning and the upper oven door has vents on top that tend to collect stuff that is not easy to remove or clean without disassembling the door. Other than those minor issues, a very nice addition to the kitchen and we'd buy it again.

Double ovens are really great with the top oven getting the most work. It heats up fast and cooks very well. The black flat top cooking area is just beautiful and heats fast and cooks wonderfully. Easy to clean, too. It was a great buy at a great price and we'd been waiting a while to get it and glad we did!

Love the double ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the double ovens on my new range. Looking forward to cooking my first large meal this weekend as all the kids and grandkids are coming in. I like the bridge burner, would like to find a griddle that I can use on the glass top. We are renovating our kitchen and we bought new dishwasher, range, refrigerator, and microwave. All GE, love the products.

Easy to use. Heats quickly. Love the 'surface still hot' light.
All my pans still work great!
Had a Zephyr Hood installed above and the lights shine down upon it... lighting the entire surface up WOW.

Easy to clean. Using the polish that came with it, WORKS just FINE. Have clean soft towels handy to keep it looking NEW.
N V of the neighborhood. . . and my gal friends, even my Brother said WOW when he saw it!

Sad to see this model is discontinued mere weeks after I purchased it. Its very practical, use the top oven much more than bottom and it takes only minutes to heat. Love the convection. Find the black glass top VERY difficult to keep clean, but the stainless stays pretty clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
