Used an android earlier and wanted to try a different one. Chose WP7.5 and the result is Woww!! The integration of contacts from FB, Linkedin, google and hotmail are just mindblowing. I discovered I could dictate messages while drivng using my bluetooth. These messages can come from Facebook, text or google chat. Everything is seen on messaging central. Those friends who saw the people hub were just impressed. The usability is very good. I could easily change settings on my phone. The phone easily picks up wireless settings and connects in a flash. The best feature however is that all phone can unfirmly upgrade to the newer version with hassles.
The only negative is the lack of sufficient apps. I would like to see more financial companies putting their apps on WP7.

Super smooth, Super light, Super fit to my pocket.
Great experience of the windows phone system.
Battery life is OK. Better than most of the other smartphones. Over 30% left for me every day.

Great phone, happy to think different

Upgraded from the Samsung Captivate which I initially loved but software updates led to more and more problems. A friend of mine suggested getting one of the new Windows phones and I thought he was joking. Seriously, Windows? I read these reviews and figured I'd give it a shot. Wow, really nice phone. I've been able to find every app in marketplace that I wanted, and the built in stuff is great too. Probably the best feature of the phone is the camera/dedicated camera button. It sounds silly, but with small children I take quite a few pictures and this phone makes it super easy. Also, when I get home they are magically uploaded to my computer over WIFI without me doing a thing.
Overall I'm very happy with the phone. The interface is very straight forward, which is surprising considering it came from the same company that brought us Windows!
Pros: Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, camera/video quality

Fluid, bright, sharp, eye-catching

I live on my phone. Train 2 hours a day M-F + always on the move.
Being a former Focus owner, this just seemed like the natural step. I however took a break with a Galaxy Note which is a breathtaking piece of hardware, but still has the complexities of Android. I felt like I was fighting the Note tooth and nail to perform basic tasks that were built into Windows Phone. Switched to the Samsung Focus S. I have to say it is THE best Windows Phone experience - bar none. Its size, screen, battery life, speed, camera, speaker phone (I do regular conference calls), call clarity, GPS works well (Finally!!). It's all amazing. Plugged in my hotmail account. Went to windowsphone website to redownload apps and I was back to normal. This phone is well worth the upgrade even for prior Focus owners. The email and messaging on WP is by far the best of any phone OS out there IMO. A few of my peers laughed until I showed them... lol. Anyway if you want to give Windows Phone a shot --- GET THIS PHONE! And get the CASE-MATE case. It adds minimal size to the phone, has a nice feel and protects the camera. It's a little exposed on top and bottom, but I like that since it keeps the plugs free.

I've used, tried, and owned many different phones, but the combination of a smooth, fluid WP7.5 interface with the sleek, thin, light design of this Samsung has made me more happy than any other. The screen is gorgeous too.
Family, friends, and co-workers have all marveled at this phone. "If only I wasn't in the middle of a contract!", they say (and most of them are using iphones).
It's a whole different way to use a phone, and I grow more enthusiastic about it every day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is absolutely amazing! Love the front facing camera and the 8mp camera on the back. I have had this phone for awhile now and it's the perfect one for me! Well organized, long lasting battery!!!! AND if I had to recommend any phone it would have to be this one. People with the iphone always tell me they like this better than their iphone. Haha, easy to use, not too big, and I have no problems with it AT ALL.
Pros: camera, long battery, light weight, easy to read texts emails internet etc..
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first smart phone I was very hesitant to do that and also about going to a completely touch screen. But it is a great phone and although it has taken me a while to get it loaded and able to use as efficiently as possible it has been well worth my time The battery time could be longer but I have no problem charging nightly. The only downside is there is very little vibration.

Cons: little vibration
