Focus Worthwhile Only After Mango Update
on December 3, 2011

Just passed the one year mark with my Focus & Windows 7 OS with AT&T, along with my husband.
Frustrated initially with lack & poor quality of apps & features. Been wishing I had gotten an iPhone last year instead. But with the latest Mango update, I can be content for a while, b/c now I have copy & paste, predictive text etc.
Uses Xbox games and integration. Most games & apps have little appeal for me--especially since so many cost $ when I get them free on my iPod Touch! Lacks many popular commercial apps, too. Just got "Delta" for those of us who are Skymiles Members, for example.
Apps continue to improve. I don't like the "list" form vs. the screens of icons (iPhone & Android) of Windows 7 OS for apps. First true full touchscreen smartphone I've used.
Sometimes Zune (PC syncing) problematic. Navigation awkward sometimes, & touchsceen not always responsive. Often mistype/misspell b/c keys are small.
Nice integration w/Windows Live, Skydrive, Google. Added memory chip. Wish it were 4G. Bought "CaseMate" with it & highly recommend--have dropped countless times, but phone not fazed!
Would recommend, but would also consider others!
Pros: camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use
Cons: battery life, poor navigation, small keys
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had the previous version of this phone and loved it. The new version is a step-up. Microsoft nailed it with Windows Phone. The ease of use and numerous useful feature and apps are excellent. I love the integration with Office and WindowsLive.
Pros: tools, menus, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use
Cons: bulky/heavy
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can easily butt dial someone or hang up on them...when I don't want to but, try to hang up when I want to....maybe if I hit end call 3x. Not easy to redial. The game choices are limited. Sure wish the trade in time was 45days instead of 30.
Pros: camera/video quality
Cons: battery life, operating system
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

better than the blackberry

I always have issues with key pads, the touch screen I have found annoying also. The spell check helps me to understand the emails about spell check, (chuckle :))
However it is much better than the last phone I had and I am very picky when it comes to what I want, give up bulk for minor annoyance.
Then yes the phone is sleek, volume is excellent, picture quality is awesome. love the double sided camera, maybe as time goes on I will better understand the features , many that this phone has.
I would get another.
Pros: menus, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: operating system, durability
I would recommend this to a friend!
