I love the Windows Phone experience and the Focus S has a very nice screen that is large but still fits in your pocket. My biggest complaint is battery life with cellular data turned on. If it is on, it goes dead in a day, if it is off the battery life is fine. This even happens when I am at home, so it should be using wifi, instead of my att microcell. I also wish it had 32 MB of memory, rather than just 16. A higher cost phone, should have at least 32 MB of memory.
Pros: Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, games
Cons: battery life, limited memory
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the phone for a few days and so far it is great. The only negative is the Facebook app. I got this phone becuase my company uses Exchange server so I felt for e-mail, contacts and calender it would be great. Why would anyone want to combine their business contacts and calander with their facebook contacts? With Blackberry and Iphone you can seperate them. Also there is no visual voicemail. Beyond that I love the phone
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: facebook integration, no visual voicemail
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this phone for myself and within hours of having it, it froze. After closing web when I restart it it goes to the same screen that I left off of! The camera takes beautiful pictures.
Pros: menus, camera/video quality, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life, operating system, freezes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the look and feel of the Focus S - purchased it and was sooo excited to go home and set it up. But instead of being easy, it was very frustrating. No Google Maps (just Bing). No support for home PC-based MS Outlook so could not synch my contacts and calendar (Outlook only synched through corporate Exchange server). Common audio/video file types not supported (.wav and .api). Forced to use Zune for media synchronization. I thought I could work around most of these things (convert my media files, etc.), but then when I started using the phone, the mute button (on the middle of the touch screen) kept being pressed by my earring, so the phone wouldn't work half the time. Very disappointing, I took the phone back. On the plus side, the ATT sales person was VERY helpful with return.
Cons: media support, ms outlook support, mute button placement, no google maps
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the biggest poof for a phone I have had 5 of these in less then 2 years and this one now is doing the same thing all of them have the phone just start dinging like a text and want stop and it locks up I will never have another one are any Samsung phone
I bought a Windows Phone solely because I mistakenly thought the OS would have the same functionality but better of prior windows mobile OS - it doesn't. Since the ability to sync with outlook is the one feature that I deemed necessary - this phone was returned.
