very happy with it i does make a far amount of noise when you first turn it on but seems to go away after it gets cold

I bought this almost 2 months ago.. at first i was hearing a whistle but went away after a few days. Love the sealing fearure. Coldness stays within. this is worth my money and looking forward to using this for a ling long time.

Great freezer, lousy cheap lock & "key".

I spent a lot of time researching various brands before deciding on this Frigidaire. The arrangement of shelving is excellent making everything easy to access. There is abundant space in the door for things accessed daily. The light is bright & properly located. The temperature adjustment is on the back wall which I thought would be a problem until I realized that the temperature holds steady & does not need to be adjusted! The light at the exterior bottom of the unit tells if there is electricity to the unit, so if there is ever a problem, you are aware of it right away. My only suggestion for change would be the lock & key. The lock is spring loaded, so you must push the key in & turn it at the same time. The key is a flexible white plastic cheap "key". To even call it a key is a misnomer. Even adding a key fob, it is almost impossible to accomplish this, especially while holding a container or package of food, without the key falling to the floor. To say I am sick of this key & lock is an understatement. This wonderful, efficient freezer is a winner that is ruined by this cheap key & lock.

We bought this a month ago and just love the space it has. It is very quiet and hardly ever runs. We almost bought the bigger one, but are glad we didn't cause this has tons of room.

Freezer perfect for our big family!

Excellent for lots of meals! Our large family of 7 makes for some difficult mealtimes. But with lots of meal planning and this large freezer, we've been able to store months of dinners! We have more family time and yummy dinners! Shelves are adjustable and there's plenty of door space. Plus, it's frost free, so I have to worry about chipping out ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
