I bought this freezer in January. We are going to use it for meats, garden vegetables, and fruits we will be growing and freezing.

Love saving space with an upright!

We've our freezer for about a month and it's great. Our chest freezer stopped working. Although I love having an extra freezer, ours was huge (that's what happens when my husband shops by himself) and took up a lot of space in the garage. We had the chest freezer for 10 years and I thought it should last longer than that (seems like my grandparents had the same one my whole life). That brand rhymes with "girls school." This upright has the same cubic space but takes half the space in the garage. Don't worry though, we put a massive cart (instead of the cute folding one that can go in my car-another husband purchase) in the freed space. The upright is easier for my kids to get into, as well. They couldn't reach to the bottom of the chest freezer. And I was always worried they would leave the chest freezer slightly open and had to go check after they were sent to get something. With this upright the seal is super tight and the door swings closed easily. The baskets are a nice addition. Easy to pull out to see what's in them. Also like the adjustable door storage but would've liked a few more of the small ones included. So far, so good and hope this one will last more than 10 years.

I purchased this freezer to replace my old one; I am so glad I did. It is much more energy efficient, the size is perfect, and the baskets are great for small items.
