Good value. Std setting gave me -10 degrees F within 12 hours with a full load. Disappointed that only got 4 shelves when unit is designed for 5. Also this unit did not have baskets in the bottom whereas its predecessor did have them (the old ones didn't fit in the new unit). This unit seems louder than the old one but it doesn't run as long or as often so the insulation seems better (therefore lower electric bill?)

Good freezer but larger than the original

This freezer replaced a 18 or 19 cu. ft. freezer that we had for 43 years. Being slightly smaller in capacity I was surprised that it was 3" wider. This caused some problems but was taken care of. Also surprised that the sides of the unit got warm, which I guess is caused by having the coils in the sides instead of the back. Otherwise we've added it to our collection of Frigidaire appliances: stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer, and dryer which we are quite happy with.

Seems to be doing well so far. It seals well. The only issue yet is that when you pull the handle to open the door, because it seals so well it slides on the feet on ceramic tile, and has to be slid back into place. I can open it at the top corner with a thumb and finger, but others here can't seem to get the hang of that.

I like all the features this model has to offer, but an alarm for temperature rise would be a perfect addition to it's features. Also had some small dents in the side of freezer right out of the box.

This was bought for a Foods classroom at a high school. It's great because it is a full size refrigerator. Keeps it's temperature and holds a lot of product. The only thing is that it is not very deep. We hold trays of food at a time, and some of the trays don't fit unless we move the shelves around. (They bump into the door shelves.)

I bought this refrigerator for 1 months. I guess it should work accordingly. It would be great if there is a way the freezer could be more flexible in organizing.

We purchased this 3 months ago and have been very happy with it. It freezes FAST and keeps frozen food very fresh. You can hear the suction when you shut the door, so you know it's doing it's job. Our previous freezers have been chest type, where it's so much harder to find things on the bottom. It's great to be able to see everything at
