It's HOT!!!

It's a freezer that uses the outer shell as a heatsink ... it gets HOT!!!
It looks nice and it has plenty of volume...on sale, it was a great value. But, if you live anywhere, like AZ, where it gets hot in the summer ... Well, they don't promote the warning that high temps might fry the unit. So, after 35 years of my previous freezer being in the garage I'm now at risk (prior freezer door hinge failed - not compressor); there's no place else to put it. Did I mention this freezer actually gets HOT. You have to leave lots of room around it and it puts off lots of heat -- from top sides, top and back.
It appears to be a good freezer but I'm a bit peeved they basically hide the heat issue and placement limitations in their promotional materials/visuals.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this our Frigidaire freezer replace an old freezer and let me tell you, it sure puts the old freezer to sham!!! I wish I would have boughten this months ago! We LOVE how it keeps all of our food evenly frozen!

This freezer has an excellent seal and keeps my food solidly frozen. As s charming added bonus it whistled to let us know if I'd securely shut.
