Perfect appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size. Fits well in garage as I am still able to comfortably park vehicles and access the Freezer. Easy to stock up and easy access to remove stock. Energy efficient. Seal is airtight, no frosting like other freezers I’ve owned.

So convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace a 19 Cu. Ft. Chest freezer from 1985. Downsizing but still wanting the storage this is just what we needed, more floor space but great capacity. We just about filled it up today, bought a half of beef. Now don’t have to crawl inside the freezer to dig out steaks, can find them quickly just opening the door.

Affordable option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rated similarly (within 5%) of the energy cost /yr to inexpensive chest freezers in the same size category. Easier to access food and fits in my house as a stand up model. Build quality is lower than the 30 yr old model it replaced (thinner sheet metal - a bit wavy out of the roll former). So far, it runs less than the old model. The freezer could use more shelves. Frigidaire would do better to sell accessories if they priced them a bit more reasonably and included an add with the correct part numbers with the unit (I know this is online, the website is pretty chunky and some of the part numbers referenced seem to be unaligned with the model). I used clean cardboard boxes to arrange my items rather than paying roughly 10% of the purchase price of the freezer for the same function in plastic from frigidaire (you could do better). This unit does not have floor rollers.
