Freezer lasted 4.5 Years then Catastrophic Failure

I bought this freezer on May 26, 2015 and today, December 29, 2019, I came home to find water leaking out of it and everything thawed. The light is still working but the freezer itself is dead. The freezer that I replaced with this one lasted for 15 years, but it was a Whirlpool. I recognize that appliances do not last as they did in the past, but 4.5 years for a product this expensive is pretty ridiculous. If you look at the good reviews of this freezer, most of them come from people who just purchased. Look again in 4.5 years.

Freezer lasted less than 2.5 years

This freezer barely lasted 2 years. Now, the light is on, the door is shut and the knob is turned to its coldest temperature. However, the freezer is not freezing. Not sure if it's working at all. We lost at least $200 of dollars of meat/food.

I would like to gather more details about your experience. Please be on the lookout for an email from us.
In the meantime, I recommend checking a few things with your freezer.
Have you experienced any recent power outages or blown fused? If so, Check/replace the fuse with a 15-amp time-delay fuse and reset the circuit breaker.
Try plugging your freezer into a different outlet.
Also, if you have adjusted the temp please allow several hours for temperatures to stabilize between adjustments.

Stopped working after 3 yrs!

I just saw another review that said this freezer stopped working at 3 yrs. Well, we bought ours in Sept. of 17 and tonight 1/27/20 noticed it is not working! We have a freezer full of Deer Meat we have to take to My Inlaws now. Not happy.

5 Months Old - Already needing repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in January, by May it was already needing repair. And not just any repair - a complete replacement of the entire compressor and refrigeration system. The whole sealed system failed. At five months old. Crazy.
