1) extremely quiet
2) very well lit
3) solidly built
4) spacious!
I would highly recommend this freezer. My wife could not be happier with my choice!

Meets our needs very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this refrigerator as an "overflow" unit, supplementing our regular kitchen refrigerator. It is perfect for our needs - well lit and solidly constructed. The only surprise was the strength needed to open the door, as the magnetic "latch" is a bit stronger we're used to. But it keeps the door closed tightly and beyond small children's ability to open, a fair trade-off.

Love the Frost Free!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had a regular upright freezer for years but never a frost free. I think food is better w/o the frost free, but I will love never having to defrost this. I never had a light before, and this one is nice and bright. Nice looking, and so far I love it. I kind of wish I had bought the bigger one, but this 16.6 cuft takes less energy and is okay.

Builds up frost as a garage freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very reliable and quiet. Salesmen said the freezer was rated to be used in a garage. I was disappointed that it built up frost and needed defrosting after about 4 months.

However, this is not a frost free freezer. Meaning the freezer will have to be manually defrosted. First upright freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had chest freezers in the past, but due to certain area constraints we ended up settling on an upright. Based on combinations of reviews and pricing, we settled on the Frigidaire. So far we are very happy with this freezer and it’s performance. We lean towards name brand appliances and this year we have tried Frigidaire for the first time, although I remember growing up we had Frigidaire appliances. For me the frost free feature is an attractive feature and we won’t be manually defrosting again as in the past , that I won’t miss!
