Not Reliable

Frigidaire Model LFFH17F3QWC. It worked without problem for 2 years and 3 months then failed completely. This unit says Electrolux Corp. Charlotte, NC and was assembled in the USA. No idea where the parts were made. Compressor runs constantly, outside cabinet is warm (as normal) and thermostat mid-range. Does not freeze. Going to buy another brand.

Correct Electromechaical Temp Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer seems to run fine but the temperature control adjustment is in numbers 1-7. Freezer temperature is supposed to be 0 degrees F. Manual says to make colder by adjusting to a higher number. How do I know if I need to do that?

Nice freezer

Bought about 6 weeks ago works ok, can not get the door open with out touch the gasket to break the vacuum seal of the freezer, all most pull to hard moving the unit. Did not know it was a different kind of unit with the motor unit running about 2 hrs on a cool down cycle, and the noise is similar the sound of a washing machine

Major failure at 15 month old

The compressor went causing me to have to throw away all the contents of the freezer. This is very upsetting. I think should at least be compensated for the lost food. Never mind the work to empty ,clean and replace the food.
