[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer less than two years ago (August 2016), brand new from a retailer. It suddenly stopped working this week; I only realized after several items inside had melted. We are waiting for a repairman to take a look. Regardless of the issue, I don't believe this should happen to a basic appliance within such a short time frame. Buyer beware. You'd be wise to take out an extended warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the deep door shelving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought it a month ago runs quiet has deep shelving on door. Love the crate idea on bottom of freezer so air circulates. On the minus side the control button is on the back of the freezer so limits freezer space on that shelf
