Great use of space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator to replace a garage refrigerator/freezer unit. Since we already have a garage freezer and really needed more refrigerator space, this Frigidaire was an ideal choice. It has a lot of room, and appears to do a great job of cooling. The only thing I would improve would be to provide more shelving and shelving inserts for greater flexibility in best managing space.

It's MANUAL Defrost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea these were even still produced. Color me an idiot. There is nothing more grating on the nerves than the sound of frost crunching every time you need to get something out of it.
And with my luck, the first appliance I actually HATE will last forever.

Thank you for sharing your freezer experience, cshuck. It appears that your freezer is operating as designed. Metal parts undergo expansion and contraction, as it hot water pipes. The sound will level off or disappear as the appliance continues to run. I hope this information is helpful.
