[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Frigidaire upright freezer we have owned and we are very pleased as this one is larger than the first one we had. With the bright interior lighting everything is very easy to locate. Everything is kept at a perfect temperature ! It is nice to be able to take advantage of good sales to save money and always have items handy without extra trips to the store !

Solid Freezer for Garage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 14.4 Fridgidaire freezer built in 2001. It did a good job but sweat water all summer in the high humidity of Atlanta. I purchased a 17 cubic foot replacement and wanted one with more insulation to lower operating costs and control the exterior sweating issue. So far we have hit dew points in the upper 60s and no sweating. As a bonus, nice and quiet and compressor runs way less than previous version.

Defective unit

Bought this unit in February 2018. It is large, simple, but has what seems to be an incurable defect. The door leaks air into the unit at the top, on both sides, resulting in constant water dripping and the unit producing frost quickly. We just had the gasket replace under warranty yesterday (they did a good job of responding quickly and sending a very competent serviceman) but the problem is still there this morning. May need to have the unit replaced with another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
