Our new refrigerators are designed to be more efficient in that they use newer components and run at a consistent speed/temperature for a longer period of time using less energy. If your refrigerator is located in a non-humid and not warm environment and you have set your appliance to the appropriate temperature settings (37ºF for refrigerator and 0ºF for your freezer section) you should notice that it runs at a lower speed for a longer period of time. This is one way it is designed to save on energy. Appliances use more energy when they constantly turn off and on. Our refrigerators are designed to allow the fan components inside to run after the compressor turns on. This allows the internal components to cool and the machine to rest even though you may still hear something running.
Also, the tightness in the door seal indicates that the gasket is sealing properly. If you're opening the refrigerator, I suggest gently sliding your hand around the gasket and door frame to loosen the seal so that you can open the door. I hope this helps! Working Perfectly So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the fridge for a week but so far it's working perfectly. In fact, today is the true test since we're having all the kids and grandkids over for Easter dinner, which means lots of extra food to keep refrigerated.
The only reason I don't give it five stars is the lack of features like crisper drawers, egg/butter compartments and glass shelves. All in all we're quite satisfied.
