There is plenty of room for storage on the shelves and on the door.

My first upright freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had self defrosting chest freezers in the past. Getting older I decided I need a reliable upright freezer, which is why I purchased the Frigidaire. I research numerous styles and companies. Frigidaire was the most recommend and affordable.

I am not thrilled with this purchase. The door is so hard to open the entire refrigerator moves when I try and open it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is important to note that your refrigerator must be
properly leveled in order to function properly. If the unit is not leveled during installation, the door may be misaligned and not close or seal properly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems. After discarding crating screws, you can level your refrigerator by using a carpenter’s level to level the unit from front-to-back. Adjust the plastic leveling feet in front, ½ bubble higher, so that the door closes easily when left halfway open and all bottom corners are resting firmly on a solid floor.

Lots of room, nicely lit, runs quietly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer is so roomy, with lots of storage in the door. It is well-lit so even when filled everything can be easily seen. It runs very quietly and maintains a steady temperature. The only complaint I have is the location of the temperature adjustment knob. It is on the back wall mid-height between two shelves. The shelf has to be unloaded to get to it if an adjustment has to be made after the freezer is loaded. Very inconvenient. This seems to be the standard, but how hard could it be to place the knob on the front lower panel inside the door? A few feet of wire? Come on R&D...get to work on that! I am knocking off one star on Design, however, I still love this very roomy freezer.

Top Notch Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer to replace a 20 year old model of smaller size. It's performing very well. I particularly like the thick insulation and low energy consumption. Good visibility and air circulation. The features are adequate and the price was attractive. I see no reason it shouldn't last 20 years.
