Tight seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for our new house. It is very spacious and keeps things fresh- so far nothing is freezer burnt. The freezer has a very tight seal which is great.

Great size for our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit to replace an ageing small chest freezer. It is easier to see what we have compared to the chest type unit. Also, we can take advantage of sales on foods that can be frozen. We have a vacuum food saver that helps prevent "freezer burn" and extends the storage shelf life of foods.

bad door seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seal on the door has iced up from the beginning. Technician tried to rearrange, but it didn't work Tech has ordered new door seal and will install when received. I hope it works this time. We got rid of our old Frigidaire freezer because of the same problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace a freezer that was 14 years old. It works fine but is noisier than our old one. The user manual is mostly about features not on our freezer and not very "user friendly" (like most user manuals today - a disgrace).
No mention about "vacumn action" after door closure. Plastic on outside is very hard to remove since door seal is glued over plastic edge. Dealer service (Friedhaber's) was excellent.
