Performing great so far. Runs much quieter than the 30-year-old unit it replaced. Cycling less frequently, and much, much quieter... as one would expect from 30 years' worth of technology improvements. I assume we're saving $ on electricity accordingly.
After some tweaking of the thermostat over time, it's holding a steady, reliable -2deg F temp. The light is wonderful, and the shelf and door slot configurations are efficient enough.
So far, very happy with the purchase. Only tale yet to be told is longevity. We'll see.

Perfect Price for a Frost Free Freezer

Purchased this a month ago. Freezes food fast and evenly. Perfect height for my laundry room and fits nicely under my shelf and rack.

Perfect for us

My old freezer was about to go out on us, so we looked around for a new one. The Frigidaire brand was recommended to us by a couple of people because of its repair record. Also, this model is very well insulated, so there is no need to worry about a power outage lasting a few hours. This model is big enough for the split side of beef we purchased. The beef only takes up 1 1/2 shelves, leaving plenty of room for other things.
