So far so good

We bought this as a replacement for our 25 year old upright that finally gave up. So far the unit is working well and holds the temperature as set. The lighting is nice and bright which we appreciate.
It is much noisier than our old freezer just as the ratings indicated however thats not really a problem for us since it's out in the garage. If we had to keep it in the house I would probably be very annoyed by it so thats part of the reason for only a 3 star rating. The other reason is i was pretty disapointed that the bottom compartment did not have a basket to contain items. Its a rather large compartment and without a basket or something the food does not stay in place. We resolved that and added another level by adding trays and a tray from the local hardware store.
Overall we would consider this as a pretty average freezer and are satisfied thus far and hope we get as long of life from this freezer as we did from our old one. Time will be the judge on that.

This is a very nice freezer. The only gripe I have about it is that it is hard to open, I understand that this feature keeps the food safe, it would just be nice if the freezer didn't "walk" away from the wall every time I open it. Every thing else about the freezer is great!

I have had my freezer about 3 months it is a great freezer. I like the fact that it is easy to reach everything in the freezer. the temp control is very easy to adjust. I have such peace of mind knowing I have a good freezer and a company that stands behind their products.

My replacement was another Frigidaire freezer

When Hurricane Irma took out our 11 year old Frigidaire freezer (electrical issues), I replaced it with another Frigidaire freezer (slightly smaller size this time). Love all the features but especially the light at the (outside) bottom that lets me know the freezer is operating. This small feature saved us numerous times over the years.

Great freezer

I upgraded from a basic deep freezer, and I love it. I can easily access my food, I love the frost free part of it. No bulky ice no defrosting. I would definitely recommend this for large familys..
