what's up with the door?

after opening the door, then shutting, it's almost impossible to open the door again. we aren't sure if it's a "vapor" lock or what. we are older so we sometimes cannot get in at all
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your upright freezer review with us, cherylynn2005. When the door is closed it creates a vacuum, making the door harder to open. Try waiting 2 minutes before opening the door again to allow the internal pressure to equalize. If you are still struggling with opening the door, try gently pushing the gasket (seal) to release the pressure when opening the door. Lots of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge for our office to store beverages for guests. The space on the doors is very useful for cans. There is also plenty of shelf space for larger items.

LOTS OF SPACE INSIDE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this freezer a couple of months. Love the pullout baskets and colored handles that go on the baskets. Already labeled and in use. The only drawback is that, even with feet adjustment the freezer doesn't sit "tight" on the garage floor, it moves too much when opening the door. Dealer has appliance cups that will keep it level so will be using those.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for sharing your feedback, alop. It sounds like your high-efficiency refrigerator is operating as designed. Models like yours may make unfamiliar sounds like a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. The tightness in the door seal indicates that the gasket is sealing properly. If you're opening the refrigerator, I suggest gently sliding your hand around the gasket and door frame to loosen the seal so that you can open the door. I Hope this helps! Great Freezer for the price!
