Not my first Frigidaire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a replacement for my prior 18 year old 20cu. ft. Frigidaire. Was happy with my previous experience with the brand so that is why I stayed with them. This unit is similar to my last one but has the addition of an interior light which is nice. This model requires manual defrost, but in my experience, long term storage food quality is better than the frost free models. One feature that would be nice is a high temperature warning output with wireless connectivity. I believe this feature is available on higher end units but I am not willing to pay for other features that I don't need. Have had the new unit in service for about a month now and am very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely love my new Frigidaire upright freezer!

Perfect for a Large Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer in 2015 to replace a very old chest type freezer. When I had ordered this, I did not realize that the shelves weren't adjustable and I was originally a little bummed. Now I like that the shelves aren't adjustable. Refrigerant coils line each shelf so the shelves are super sturdy and allow for much more even freezing. Also because the refrigerant runs thru the shelves you can pack it pretty full and not worry about airflow and it cools/ freezes faster. It is a manual defrost, which is my husband's preference. I just love how easily I can find everything and can store everything bulk I buy for my family of 8.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst appliance ever owned

Bought this freezer a year and a half ago. The green light on the bottom was always on so I figured it was working. But I was wrong opened the door one day and everything was thawed. This is the second Frigidaire I bought and I will not be buying another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
