Easy Use

Bought this upright several months ago after our chest freezer finally kicked the bucket. I do like how much easier it is to get to items instead of digging but when going from a chest to upright you do lose space. I was annoyed that the truck driver was in hurry and didn't let me properly inspect the appliance and there were a couple dents, I thought about writing a complaint but it's in my garage and didn't want a battle over dents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The freezer replace our 15 year old freezer and the ability to keep food frozen is excellent. Highly recommend the freezer and a great price for the quality of the freezer!

Great features!

Replaced old freezers with this one. It is made in the SA. has fixed shelves with coils. Holds alot of meat and freezes solid. It has something called Arctic Lock that's supposed to keep things frozen for up to 3 days. Haven't had any power outages to know if it works. I do notice meat freezes more solid and a roast took 5 days to thaw.

Hey Roy32, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I would recommend doing a simple inspection of your gasket by slipping a sheet of paper or a dollar bill between the door edge and the freezer edge, then close the door. If you can move the paper or dollar bill easily out of the door, this is another indication that your gasket is not sealing properly.
