[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a unit immediately, due to a failure of our previous Frigidaire upright freezer. The "old" one had been in service some fifteen years, without a hitch or a service call necessary. Naturally, we turned to Frigidaire once more...selected the replacement unit and it was installed the very next day. We look forward to the same seamless, carefree, continued superior service from this unit as we have experienced from ALL of our Frigidaire appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Same quality as past Frigidaire deep freezer we owned for 34 years. The old one still works fine but draws more energy than new model, so we opted to replace it. The retired unit has been properly retired through BHE Recycling Program.

Good size and cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this freezer with the shelves that provide the chill on the advise from my brother in law. He was in HVAC and was adamant this was better than the frost free units because they keep going through a freeze thaw cycle and can effect the quality of the food especially if stored for a lengthy time. I will have to defrost it from time to time. It helps to open door as infrequently as possible so we take out what we may need for the next week at one time and put in the refrigerator freezer. After having chest freezers forever this is a dream finding what you want inside.
