We bought this freezer to replace our old freezer of 37 years. Runs great and was a great price, it seemed hard to find a manual defrost upright freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

While the freezer performs good, it tends to frost up pretty heavy; I am currently trying not to open the door any more than absolutely necessary because of this. I did not know when I purchased this freezer that it was not frost free! Having to take everything out and keep it frozen while we defrost the freezer is quite a chore!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
