Worked once then no more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a birthday gift in 2015. Tried it and didn't work. Followed directions but did not get hot at all. Oster Co was kind enough to send me a new replacement. It worked once for 5 waffles. I turned it back on to do more the next day but it never got hot no matter what temperature I switched the dial on. Just stays green light on all the time. Sorry Oster but this is not a good waffle maker and you should stop selling this make.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not the correct modle

I found the most amazing waffle maker about 4 years ago. Unfortunately over time it started to fall apart. I looked up the model number and immediately bought a new one very excited to receive my product. Oster CKSTWFBF10. Unfortunately inwhen it came in the mail it was not the same one and had a terrible coding that made it to waffles were not crispy like my old one. The module is actually Oster CKSTWFBF10-TECO. I called to see if the model I was looking for even existed and unfortunately, I did not get a helpful or pleasant response. I will lose out because I will have to pay to ship this product back and still don't have the product that I desperately want.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this yesterday and used it for the first time this morning. Very happy with it. I had nice golden brown crisp waffles, with a soft and chewy center. I am very pleased with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waffleless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift this xmas and two weeks and I'm disappointed. The waffles are getting stuck, I have to pry them out, and they don't always come out intact. I thought it might be the brand of batter, so I switch but it didn't make a difference. It is also stained up, can't get them out, I try using a qtip with soap to clean but no luck. It just looks dirty :-(

Best Waffle Maker Existing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When mom first got this for me, I was skeptical. I wasn't looking forward to spending over an hour making enough waffles for, let alone going through the tedious clean-up process afterwards.
This appliance, however, has quickly become a favorite of mine! One waffle only takes 30 seconds and, because of the non-stick coating an drip-tray - cleanup is super easy. The flipping feature is almost fun to use, and the result is large, thick, and fluffy!
My only complaint is the odor you get with the first use and the meterial from which it's made (plastic is more likely to break, but I must say it sure makes it light).
This appliance, however, has quickly become a favorite of mine! One waffle only takes 30 seconds and, because of the non-stick coating an drip-tray - cleanup is super easy. The flipping feature is almost fun to use, and the result is large, thick, and fluffy!

Great AT FIRST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the unit at first. I received this as a gift however after about the 5th time of use the handle became sloppy. On the 6th usage a piece on the handle broke and locked the unit as to not allow it to spin back around. I am hoping I may get to review a second unit as I may have just got the "one" that was defective.

Broke after 4 uses!

Got this as a Christmas gift and was super excited. Used it about 4-5 times. Went to use it one morning and it wouldnt turn on. Tried different outlets that worked with other appliances, it wasnt the outlet. Threw it away. Wont be purchasing from Oster again.

Bottom heating element faield after 4 waffles

I've made a total of 4 waffles with this waffle maker. Now, only half of the waffle cooks as one of the heating elements failed already. Low quality piece of junk.
