Pretty good for the price

It does the job. I didn't know that all 5 speakers don't work for music. Only for thinks recorded in surround sound.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

A Great Addition to our Samsung Television

This entertainment system provides the sound we wanted when watching a movie or TV show.
The addition of the Blu-Ray player is a plus.
I would recommend this system to anyone looking for added audio support.

Excellent home theater system and very easy to set up. The unit sounds awesome and I love the arc feature the best. I use my home theater for all my TV watching. Also this system is an excellent value and has Bluetooth as well. A perfect compliment to your Samsung TV.

So Easy My Mom Can Use It

I needed a system to help my hard of hearing mother so she could watch TV. Someone suggested this system. At first I was concerned it would be to difficult for her to work, but she picked it up faster then she did her cell phone! She loves being able to now hear her shows. I love the blue tooth feature, now I can listen to my music on my phone loud and clear when cleaning.
Pros: Lightweight

We have had problems beginning with set-up. Had a hard time getting speakers to work. The wires were too thin to make a good connection. Had to double the wires over for the speakers to work. Connecting the unit wasn't too bad. Has pretty good sound. Didn't test out the DVD player for awhile since we have so many movie stations with Charter. When we finally watched a movie it worked okay. But, when we wanted to go back to watching our cable TV we couldn't switch back over. We could switch the mode but there was no picture on the TV. It said there was no digital optical cable (which there is).
Anytime I change the mode it will not recognize the cable box / TV when I switch it back to watch my TV. I have to unplug and replug the HDMI cords, switch to different HDMI outputs on my TV until everything finally works again. Then next time I do something besides watching cable I have to go through the same process to get it back to the TV mode.
The most recent problem I have is with the sound going out for a second or two while watching TV. It comes back on right away but does this frequently. A couple of times we had no sound at all. Had to turn the surround system off and just use the speakers on the TV. This is the most irritating problem! I have tried to find some sort of troubleshooting but there is nothing on the website or in the book to cover this issue.
I would have preferred it being wireless but at least my smart TV is so that isn't a big issue.
I will probably box the whole thing back up and return it to Best Buy!!!!!
