I really love my home theatre, it performs very good and the sound is excellent especially when the volume is turned up. It sounds like the cinema sounds..

I hate to give bad reviews on anything, but this unit stopped working after less than a week. It goes into "Protection" mode very shortly after powering it on. What is disturbing is that I cannot find anything about this in the user manual. It's going back to where I purchased it from. This is my first home theater system and I trusted the Samsung name. What a let down.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, doesn't work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an excellent value for a mid-range speaker system. There is one issue. If your center speaker does not output any sound, you have to press the DSP/EQ button. This is the special effects button. Once clicked, you need to pick a mode which will display on the receiver. For example, cinema mode, game mode, etc.... If this feature is in the "off" setting, meaning, no special effect is chosen, then the middle speaker will not work. This is, at least, how my system works. If this is the case, they forgot to put this important fact in the directions. Samsung, please correct me if I am wrong. Other than that everything works great.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, great sound for the money, easy to setup and use

Powerful punch in a small package

Keep in mind, this is a wired system. The only wireless aspect of this product is bluetooth. Had this for a month and am still blown away. The sound is amazing and the picture crisp and clear. Even upscales regular DVDs to near HD quality, remarkable. Highly versatile system especially with a Samsung smart tv. Enough features and options to keep most technophiles pleased. This is only getting bad reviews from people who don't read the owner's manual, a must for features like bluetooth and the radio. You will only hear the rear surround speakers when playing supported content, like movies. The only thing I can't review is 3D playback as I don't have a 3D tv but I'm sure it works great.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight

I just upgraded from a Samsung sound bar. The new surround sound system sounds amazing. The Blu ray DVD player offers great options, is easy to use, and gives me great picture quality, all at a great price.
Pros: Realistic color, Inexpensive, great sound quality

Too good to be true

I bought this with high hopes to be compatible with My new Samsung 55" TV and I was really disappointed in it. The sound from the sub was terrible the internet needed direct connection. We always watched basic DVDs and the first time we tried to watch a blueray bam! It starts shutting down saying protection after troubleshooting and doing all I could it has to remain on at all times to even have the sound for TV if you shut it off it goes back to shutting off every time you turn on. I read online this was a widespread defect and its related to a bad capacitor this was 6 days over a year and I am stuck with it. A lot of money wasted very disappointed....had high hopes with it being a Samsung product....
Pros: multi features all in one, 3d, bluray/dvd/internet accessable, surround sound/eq, internet apps including netflix and facebook
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor sound esp with sub, no wifi access without direct line in, broke with first use of bluray, manufacture defect, no local repair
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is a Grear Home Theater to buy. My neightbors ask me what did I have in my Family Room? 'Cause its sound so Powerfull. I tell them and they are in plans to buy it one.
