I had the hood installed with my kitchen remodel a few years ago and it is honestly one of the features I like best about my new kitchen. Our smoke detector would activate often with the old hood (basically just a noise-maker), we have never had the alarm go off while the Broan hood was on. It is incredibly effective and efficient. The filters are easy to clean - I soak them in an ammonia solution when dirty and they come out sparkling clean. I also love the feature that turns the hood on automatically when the stove top gets too hot or steamy - say when boiling a very large pot of water. I have not experienced any mechanical problems whatsoever since purchasing the hood 3-4 years ago.

The cabinet hood style, great air removal and a reasonable sound level. The only problem I have had is the right bulb holder needs repair every so often.

Has great lines and was easy to install for a DY I person as myself. It does the job well only thing that I didn't like and this is very minor is at the top speed of the fan in is a bit loud other than this minor thing I would definitely recommend it for a new or remodel install.

This range hood fan is quiet and it effectively vents odors to the outside. I like the 3 switch alternate action light and fan controls for low, medium, and high (1,2,3). Well designed. Would recommend this product to anyone who is updating their kitchen.
