The only dryer you will need

I have had this dryer for over 15 years, it has worked perfect every day. I have young boys and need to wash and dry clothes daily, sometimes twice a day. This dryer has lasted and worked perfect all these years. If it ever goes out I will buy another. You will not be disapointed with your purchase of this dryer. The clothes come out perfect no matter what setting you choice. Enjoy.

Works great when it works

I bought this washer/dryer pair about 7 years ago, new. When the dryer works, it works great. However, every now and then it gets a bug up its butt and locks up. It turns itself on and the timer alarm goes off, and off, and off. All the lights come on, but none of the controls work. You can't even turn it off unless you unplug it from the wall.Most of the time it does this if wind blows air into the vent hose. So you take it apart, clean out the vent hose, the lint opening, and you hope it starts back up again. More than once I gave up in frustration and just started hanging my clothes to dry them. One time it sat unplugged for over a year! That was the first time it did this. That was when I was told the newer dryers will pitch a fit if the air vent gets clogged or doesn't get a good air flow.I wasted an arm and a leg on this washer/dryer pair. The washer still works without a hitch, but the dryer is garbage. I've been fighting with it all week.. again. It was working fine 2 hours ago. I have another load ready to dry and now it won't start, again.A few months ago I even went so far as to disassemble the dryer to find out where the imaginary clog was at. It almost went to the curb then. I hate appliances that aren't reliable, especially considering the price I paid for it. Never again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
