Mother Board Goes Out After 3 Months!

We thought this would be our dream washing machine - front load, higher off the floor, llots of options! But, when it stopped working two weeks ago and the tech had to
replace the 'mother board' when we have had it for 3 months, our confidence has
been shaken!

washer lis mostly good, but has a leak

This washer has many great features, but I am concerned and wonder if it's a lemon. GE service is coming for the second time to stop the water from leaking beneath the machine. Also, the pull out tab broke on the soap dish after two months. Are these signs of chronic problems?

Like so many of you out their we all seam to do our homework these day...in the past my wife and I have purchased other brands for applicances but now we have learned...Simple said "GE" is our brand for the future! Their is something to be said for having a few to select from when shopping for a appliance. As with GE, we recently purchased this amazing washer and only had a couple of styles to choose, unlike other brands that you never know who actually manufactures it these days. They all have the bells and whistles but in our mind their just mass produced and who fixes what. Unlike GE, they make it, test it and its tried and true to what your actually buying. This washer is just incrediable..."QUITE"...with all the features you could ever need. Works just amazing...HIGHLY RECOMMEND this unit to any of you looking for a washer!!!!

Purchased this washer about a month ago and absolutely love it! Love the built in riser, all the selections, especially the steam and sanitizing selection. That came in real handy when the family got into some poison ivy. It's quiet. It's efficient. It's the best washing machine we've owned so far, and we've owned many. (Move a lot, and the washer and dry seems to always go with the house when we sell it.)

the right height is just that the right height, no stands needed. since these are my wife's I really only know how to wash in the one setting, but the work clothes are CLEAN.... they are large though, they sit out a good 8" past where my old ones did.

Less water usage

Purchased about 3 to 4 months ago and found a few things that are bothersome. Water remains in the detergent tray after a wash. You must leave door and detergent opened to prevent Oder from developing.

Just don't like how it always leaks from the soap dispenser or how all the water doesn't drain out all the way from the dispenser. Needs to be redesigned maybe.
