Great phone!

I bought this phone about two months ago, and I am very happy with my purchase. I was also considering the GS6 Edge, but I went with the G Flex 2 because I felt the curve on this phone is more ergonomic and feels better in the pockets, especially the back pocket. Everything runs great and has no lag or stutter. Games and YouTube playback are flawless. The camera is great, although at times the laser auto focus can take a few seconds than usual to focus before taking the picture, but it isn't a big deal and it doesn't happen that often. Even though the rear loud speaker is on the back, it actually sounds good, and because of the curve the speaker doesn't lay flat on the table, so it isn't blocked. Lastly, the battery. It could be better, but every phone could have a better battery. It lasts me a whole day, not just a whole work day. I take it off the charger at about 8am, and don't have to charge it until 9-10pm. Overall, this is a great device with minimal, if any, issues. Recommended.

Fast phone, no lag or stutters. Battery life is good, can get through a full day with heavy usage & it charges really quick. Luv the camera, takes really good pics. It was this or the S6 edge. Went with this guy for the bigger screen & better battery life. The only down side is putting a case on it, cuz it looks really good with the glossy back. A lil pricy, but definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend this phone, plus it's not a phone everyone will have.

The LG G Flex 2 has not received the attention it deserves. It is comfortable to hold and packed with features. The battery life is decent compared to other flagship devices this year. I was worried when I first purchased this phone because of hearing about overheating issues with the snapdragon 810 processor but the phone does not heat up any more than any other phone I have used. I was also discouraged after reading about lag issues on some tech sites. So far I have experienced zero lag. The screen quality seemed to be low compared to other devices however I could not tell the difference by looking at them. I am very happy with my choice and decided to get this phone after being disappointed with the other devices announced this year. This phone certainly has Flex appeal.

got the phone a week ago. love the graphics on it. I had the original flex and to compare the battery life is about the same. the phone does get hot sometimes but that is because of the processor. it did not have the note pad that had on the first flex that used a lot but found one in the play store.

I bought this a month ago. The only thing I am unhappy with goes into emergency mode to much. Doesn't pick the cell tower. I never had this problem. I needed a cell for work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery Hog

All this phone is, is a G3 with an OLED display instead of a LCD display, and the "curve" of course. One thing I have noticed, is the "ghosting" or "burn in" effect is not nearly as prevalent as on the original Flex, but it's still there, albeit minimal. Battery life is atrocious. I can barely make it 8 hours with nominal usage, and then I'm looking for a charger. The phone gets hot too, way too hot to be comfortable in your hand, so some kind of case is a definite! If all you're looking for is color saturation, this is the phone for you. Samsung has got nothing on this baby with their Super Amoled display. I've never seen black so black and colors so vibrant without overdoing it, than on this device. Were it me, and it is me, I'd wait for the G4. I returned the Flex 2, simply because I couldn't deal with the battery life, and because the UI is no different than the G3. The premium price on this phone is simply not worth it, at least to me. I'm proudly a LG fanatic. I am very loyal to the brand, but they missed the boat on this one.
