Purchasing the Note 3 was the best decision I have ever made for a phone. I am able to do anything I need to do with this smart phone from keeping up with contacts to making quick notes on the go. I love the pen and how many options it gives me that a regular phone does not. The pen allows me to go into my calendar and write down an appointment and not have to use the keyboard. If you are looking for an amazing smart phone with a lot of options this is the one for you.

Great Buy but...

This phone has numerous features, and is user friendly particularly to those who have larger hands than most. The pen is a nice touch for note taking and precision. Screen is very pretty, and this phone rakes excellent quality pictures. I highly recommend it. It does however have a huge problem with Android version 5.0, GPS and network connections will drop constantly, causing it to become very unreliable. I've been told 5.1 works well. But I know 4.4.4 works very well.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, big people friendly, charges quickly, usb 3.0
Cons: android 5.0 fails

Great everything

This was my very first smart phone and I love the Samsung Note. I intend to upgrade to the Note 5 this week. The versatility and options the S pen gives is convenient and allows taking notes, as well as texting and emailing so much easier than typing.
The photo quality is exceptional and I love the large screen to view everything clearly. I thought about getting the Edge, but I like the Note so much, I think I am sticking with that for my upgrade.

I have had this product for a year and before that I had the Note 2. I love the Note series as a mobile device. They are large enough to have a good screen size for activities that my work requires (University faculty). The smartpen is a great help! The speed of the processor is good, though at times, the phone can get bogged down. A good solid hard reboot can fix that (just remember to back everything up to google). The battery life is good even when during times of heavy use. I would love to see an even longer battery life, though. It's compatibility with apps and other devices is great! I find it to be a bit pricey as a stand-alone phone, but if you have a contract, the price isn't so bad.
