I like the single button for adjusting the display.

I have two 27" Samsung displays slightly different models. I use them for my photography hobby. I like the single button for adjusting the display. It is conveniently located and makes menu navigation much easier. The overall appearance is good.
The software installation for multiple displays attached to the same computer will only permit naming one display. The second is "Default Monitor". That is the reason I gave it a 4 star rating on design. If one executes the software a second time to choose the second display it requires uninstalling the first instance. It should be simple for a software engineer to correct this minor inconvenience. Perhaps Samsung will read this and make the change.
The Easel Stand mount is a little flexible allowing the display to wobble a bit when someone bumps the table. This is not a negative to me but I thought I would mention it anyway. On a stable desk it should not be noticeable.
Overall I am very happy with my two monitors.

My first non-CRT monitor

This monitor has been great! I had been wanting to try a newer technology monitor for a few years, but was not willing to do so while my good-old CRT monitor was working well. The CRT died, finally. After reading some reviews, mainly on Newegg.com, I decided on the S27D590. I have been very happy with it. The controls are easy to learn and placed well without being obtrusive. The colors look good to me, but I do not have a need for extreme color accuracy. Game Mode is a very nice addition; I do not have to make manual adjustments to switch between normal and gaming modes.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have only been using for a couple of weeks but would hate to go back to my previous monitor. Using HDMI connection and everything is crisp , clean and bright.
The monitor has a good feature list, that can be easily set.. I would have liked to see an adjustable stand that allows you to adjust viewing angle, lets you rotate the screen. I have doubts about the longevity of the (on, off button. I had an earlier model of your monitor, and it had a touch sensitive on/off pad . I much preferred that, as I think this one will fail much sooner.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

The curved shape makes viewing easy on my eyes and the colors are alive .
I need to know if the right side of the screen is suppose to be a little dark.. the who right 1/4 or less inch space of LED seems to be darker is that normal? or do i have a defect ?
I am enjoying my Samsung 27" monitor. The picture is fantastic, and so far I have had few problems. The monitor settings adjustment needs work. Trying to adjust brightness is a chore, as different Samsung documents give different instructions on how to enter the settings. Once in the settings, the settings will sometimes all of a sudden go haywire scrolling through different pages. Looks like a software bug. I did manage after a few tries to get the monitor adjusted, and it is now operating to my satisfaction. The column mount popular with this and larger Samsung TVs is the only drawback. The monitor screen bounces around at the slightest vibration, and this is annoying. I have put the side of the monitor in contact with my desktop chassis to stop this.
