Noise & Vibration

After installing both fans behind "Air Swiss" humidifiers to encourage humid air to circulate the room both fans started to vibrate and produce quite a bit of noise. I took the fan apart and traced the noise to a piece of spring wire use to hold the fan angle when directed to a specific angle. I made a hold down for this wire and the noise stopped. This was simply bad design and I hope the manufacturer will look to correcting this flaw in all further products

Replacement fan failed...

One my second fan to fail. Both fans just quit working. Do NOT waste your money.

Love this product. Unfortunately fan died shortly after purchase but Rhonda D from KS was extremely helpful in sending a replacement. Very satisfied with customer service!

Fan selector knob broke

Fan Selector speed knob cracked with in 4 months of use and would not work to change speeds. Really liked the fan until this issue-fairly quiet and moved air efficiently.

This product MOVES the air

I have two other fans...NEITHER of which even when combined has 1/100 the effectiveness of this small but powerful fan. I just bought this a few days ago and LOVE IT!!! It moves the air, cools the room AND me better on low than my other fans do on high! It does exactly what the description says it does. However, unless you experience it for yourself...you can't possibly understand how wonderful it is have such a fan. My apartment is hot all the time and the other fans weren't effective unless they were on high which meant a constant roaring noise over which I could not hear the TV or have a phone conversation. I can position my new Vornado, turn it on low, easily hear over it and be very very comfortably cool. Thanks to Vornado...my life got better. I plan on checking out their other products.

Old ones were great, recent models all stop working

The older models were amazing. I had one or the smaller ones from 2015 and it heat a pretty large bedroom well and lasted a couple years until i gave it to a neighbor when moving. It did it's job so well I was always telling people about it when the mention of a heater came up. Now I am embarrassed and this is why: Sept 2017 I bought 2 of the metal whole room heaters, one of them stopped working just like the other reviewers and upon bringing it back to the retailer for exchange, chose a different model of Vornado heater. Same thing happened only it didn't take a month to stop working, it took 1 hour. Turned it on, it started to warm up then the fan stopped and heat stopped. I tried the heater in a neighbors property, tried different outlets, and even plugged in the neighbors heater to ensure there wasn't something wrong with the outlets in my property. So, I get to lug it all the way back from south Brooklyn to 23rd Street Manhattan to exchange it again but this time for a different brand. I am so disappointed, the older models were amazing. I never write reviews. Hopefully Vornado gets enough of these complaints that they are convinced to work with whomever they worked with before w/ manufacturing, vendors etc...
Pros: Good Power Output, Quiet, Stable Base

Definitely worth every penny

After doing an online search for a fan that I can use in my PE office that unfortunately has no A/C, I found the Vorando Compact 530 to be the answer to my problems. It is extremely quiet and moves plenty of air to help keep me cool during those real hot days in August. The adjustable angle allows me to direct the air where I need it the most. I am going to continue to use the Vorando during the winter to help circulate the hot air from our ceiling style heater to make the PE office comfortable. Thanks Vorando for helping me solve a huge problem.

Amazing Fan and Customer Service

Have used the 530 for 2 1/2 years on almost a daily basis for night time room circulation. Does an amazing job of circulating the air in a 200sf room. Noise level is perfect. The fan began to hum and no longer work, customer service immediately took action and replaced the fan. I have a number of Vornado's and they have all been outstanding.
