I have had this phone for over a year and have continuously had downloading photos and video problems. One day it works and downloads the next it doesnt. I have tried everything in the book and besides but its so unreliable Im sick of it and look forward to getting another phone, dont think it will be LG.
Pros: Style/Design

This phone is very easy to use. Text feature easy and fast to use. Like that it flips open with a key board. Love this phone.
well, my lg shine's charger unit wouldn't reconize, so i had to get a new phone. thus i got a lg xenon. it was different to get used to. but overall i liked it. the button setup was amazing. but, the touching features was a no-go. it was difficult to get used to, and was eventually the downfall of my phone. i was in a call, and recieved a text, so i went to check it, and my touch stoped working. no damage done to the phone, it just stoped working. so my 100+ texts i recieved cannot be checked until i get my next replacement phone, which happens to be the same one. i didnt exspect to have this problem yet, seeing how i only had the phone since before the new year. i cant access anything but my contact list, so i can only call and recieve calls. BUMMER! on side note, the battery, was to short of a life seeing how its a texting phone. in my opinion, lg should bring back the oringinal shines (black, red, silver). they were 5/5 in my opinion.
Pros: Style/Design
Cons: Value, Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

The phone has great features when they work. The manual on how to use the features is frustrating to use. Ex.: no instructions on how to use the calendar and other features that require involved settings. There is no way to train the voice command and mine does not recognize basic words like yes. Not being able to use Bluetooth without looking at the screen to push call button when yes is not recognized is frustrating. Would be a great phone if it would work as advertized.
Pros: Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have the blue xenon and am extremely pleased with it. The qwerty keyboard is very convenient as I send a lot of messages. The color quality on the screen is super and I like all the accessories which may be purchased for this phone.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

The unlock feature is a bit cumbersome and time consuming. Otherwise, a great phone with plenty of features.

Had 6 months and now doesn't work any longer

I purchased this phone in Oct and since about January it had been going to a black screen and doing nothing every time I would slide it shut after texting and I would have to shut it off and turn it back on to get it to show the screen again. Finally in early March the screen started getting darker and within a day it was black and hasn’t come back on since. I tried several things and nothing worked. I finally took my sim card out and went to a different phone. My wife has the same phone purchased the same time and it’s is doing the same thing. We purchased her a different phone for her as well. When you have to sign a 2 year contract to get the phone for a decent price you think the phone would last 2 years not 6 months.
