This is the best android device on the market period, just knowing that I have the freedom of not having any of the extra bloat ware and the newest updates are great

I have no idea what the hype is? I had the fascinate and went to this phone. Worst of the smartphones I've ever had, and I've had a ton. I've owned this phone since the middle of December. Tons of buds and not one update. Loved Samsung, couldn't care less about them now.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no updates tons of bugs eats batteries like mint
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone had the potential to be a real game changer however, bottle necking repairs, patches, and updates at Verizon/Sprint really handicaps this device. While I realize all manner of hacks and ROM's are available I would have preferred to be a partner with google in making this phone the best on the market. There are fixes for the well known issues with this device but 5 months later we are still waiting on the carrier to release it. Hardly a nexus device!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone has potential but due to the lack of updates and lack of supporting accessories I would not recommend this product.
I was hesitant to switch to another andriod over an IPhone. What led me to Samsung was that it should control our home theater.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great fone..

Purchased on release, I've had this fone for nearly a year and love it. Speaker quality/volume, & battery life are my only issues and neither is a deal breaker. Also, I did have slight garbled call issues early on but Jelly Bean seems to have erased that. With that said, it is a workhorse of a fone. Does it all, does it blazingly fast, and executes excellently on all operational counts. With the seamless Google/Android updates, this fone absolutely performs better today than when I purchased it, and it out-performed anything on the market then. It is also surprisingly rugged in its manufacture. I use my fone extensively & over a wide range of programs & applications; I will buy another Samsung next time around.
I love this phone with two exceptions: 1) lack of a microSD card slot. Really? 2) I have one of the phones with the problem where after a full charge, the screen keeps coming on to tell me it is charging, even after being disconnected from the phone. I can not find a fix for that, but if I could this would be an excellent phone.
