Beeping and does not work

This fridge started beeping all of a sudden and fails to cool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Mrsjb42, thank you for sharing your experience. I would suggest that you either unplug or turn the circuit breaker off to the unit for five to ten minutes. Let the unit reset completely and try to use it as normal again. If this continues you will need to contact a service professional in your area to diagnose the control board. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this beverage center and sent it to the Bahamas for my house there. Very disappointed in this unit. Was not cheap in price , so I thought it would be better. It worked for about two week. It does not work any more, nothing gets cold , no sound ,just the light works. Cost me a lot of money to ship it there and pay duty. Truly unhappy with this purchase.!!!!!!

Hey cindyga, I am so sorry you are hot happy with your beverage center purchase. Please unplug the appliance for 3 minutes and then plug it back in (make sure that it is not a GFI outlet). This may reset the controls and result in the compressor coming on. Unfortunately, per your Owner’s Manual exclusion number two; products that have been transferred from its original owner to another party, or removed outside the USA or Canada are not covered under the warranty. Makes loud noises

I bought this for a new bar I built in basement. It looks great and keeps beverages cold. However, it makes loud noises. Sort of gargle sounds. It is annoying enough to disturb you watching TV. I may return it. I also bought all my new appliance for the kitchen from frigidare which I love so I was surprised this did not work properly.

Yikes! Tommy from MD, a boiling or gurgling sound is from the refrigerant circulating throughout the system. I would like to reassure you that this is a normal operating sound. Excessive noise!!!!

I bought a Frigidaire beverage center (model FGBC5334VS) on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from Recker & Boerger in Cincinnati, Ohio. After spending about an hour reversing the door and installing the handle, I've had the refrigerator running in my rec room / office. THE BEVERAGE CENTER IS EXCESSIVELY NOISY! The noise is NOT the gentle gurgling you might expect from a compressor (I've had beverage centers and refrigerators before of course). It sounds like a small motorcycle. The noise is coming from the rear, about 3/4 up from the bottom. When I gently pressed on the rear panel, I could feel a vibration and the noise got louder (like something rubbing against the rear panel). I've made several recordings, and if I could upload these to this review I would. This beverage center is horrible. I wish I had never purchased it.

Constant noise and won't cool to set temp!

We've had this for about 7 months and it constantly makes noise. We have it set to 40 degrees and it won't cool below 50. Very annoying sound - almost like a bubbling/gurgling. I wish I knew what to do other than just deal with it.

Great addition to the Kitchen

Bought this a few months ago with a Gas Range, Microhood and Dishwasher, looks great and matches all the above. Just wish it would get a little colder, but I have it set at 37 and holds it there. Beverages are cold enough.
