Seemingly worth it's price but unfortunately my unit is louder than preferred and makes loug gurgling sounds when compressor engages. Other than that, it works.

Pretty good

Had mine for about 4 months now
Pro: Quiet, attractive, stable temperatures Con: Can see it on the power bill, racks are *very* tight and some bottles just wont fit (prosecco & champagne type whites). Also bottom rack of reds only hold 1/2 bottles which they didnt tell you!

Wine cooler review
on June 12, 2014

I looked at several units and decided to purchase this one. I liked the fact that it had the two zones. I do find that sometimes there are bottles which are too big for the tray and they need to be wedged in, but this is not a common event.

So far - good

I've only had this for a little over a month. It seems to hold a constant temperature, although I haven't used a thermometer to check it's accuracy to the readout yet. No major complaints as of yet. It is hard to pull out trays with bottles in them, which makes it hard to see bottles at the back of the tray. If it holds up, as opposed to the last brand I bought, I will be more than pleased with it.

Nice Cooler

We just installed this unit a couple of months back in our new home. It has very nice features and it's appearance is clean and attractive. The only problem of notation is that you cannot install this unit under a cabinet and it must be freestanding without being built in at all. This means that it is somewhat noisy but not too overwhelming.

Not good

Temperature settings do not work properly; either the read are too cold or the whites are too warm. One of the settings will work, but the other setting stays 10 degrees off setting. Service man came out and made some adjustments, but holds temps only if empty. Once bottles inserted, the temps get bad again even after several days. Called service again; they want me to take back to seller instead of bringing new product to house

Refrigerant leaked everywhere one day for no apparent reason. What a big mess! This unit came in our "custom" built house. Builder grade junk! I was shocked! I really thought that Frigidaire put out better products than this.

Must continually defrost
on April 20, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this unit for three years, and when it works, it's great. But it warms up and we've had to defrost it every 6 months or so. Frost builds up in the back. Has anyone else had this issue, and is there a fix for it?
Response from frigidaire.comBy Online Outreach Specialist, April 24, 2020
Hey, SanDiego Sailor! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We recommend making sure that your wine cooler has enough clearance around the sides and back to allow the hot air to circulate. You may also want to make sure that the door is sealing properly. Please feel free to reconnect with us directly via chat or call us at 1-800-374-4432; Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 8pm EST should you have any questions. Have a great day! – Courtney
