Too fat to dock

I bought this Dock so I could use the phone as a drop in alarm clock/night light/music player without having to fuss with cables or worry about battery usage. In those aspects this dock is GREAT! Love It! Drop in the phone and it instantly switches to an alarm clock, night light, music/video player (sound via either the docks built-in external headphone jack or the built-in passive phone speaker amplifier), all while keeping the battery charging away.
The downside; you have to make sure you are using only the bare phone. No covers, cases or stick on protector films (not including screen protector), just the bare phone or it simply will not work. The dimensions for the phone slot are just exactly for the phone.
So if you don't use any kind of cover/case/protector film, then get the dock, the convenience and function IMHO are worth the price tag for a simple drop in alarm clock, charger, night light, music/video player solution.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, does what it's designed to do
Cons: no fit for protected phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for desk charger

this is a great dock for the office. It launches a desk screen with the time, date, weather, etc... It even has a built in speaker. The only downfall is you cannot access your phone screens while it is docked

Close but no cigar

Cons:
(A big miss IMHO). The computer cannot see the phone when docked. Why oh why couldn't they have allowed it to sync in the docking station?

Good Dock For My Galaxy SII

Whenever i get onto my desk its good to know that there is a specific place for my phone. It can charge your phone, connect to speakers, or even use the built in speakers. You can also place it in a landscape or portrait view. Nice Nice!

This dock/cradle does nothing more than charge your phone in an upright position. There is NO DATA CONNECTION SUPPORT (i.e. NO USB SUPPORT), so you cannot plug it into your computer an access it there. Also others have found IT IS NOT SAFE to plug into your computer because it does not regulate/limit amperage and can become damaged from USB port. As a developer, I was looking for something which is a fully functional supportive unit, allowing me all the same features as if I plugged in cords, but in a faster manner. Buy it for looks, if that's what you're after, but it's a rather expensive paperweight!
Pros: nice paperweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no usb data access, not safe to charge via usb, expensive
