Easy

Very easy to set up & use. Everything has been easy: printing, copying, scanning. It's great if you don't have lots of printing/copying since by reading the info before purchase it obviously isn't made for that. Drawbacks: It doesn't hold much paper and when it prints more than 4 or 5 pages they fall on the floor.
Good for the price. I've had it for several months now.

Print not sharp - uses too much ink

While this printer is sufficiently fast the print quality is lacking. The blacks are "Too dark" and result in the, having a slightly fuzzy appearance. It is very noticeable and cannot seem to be remedied.

WOW! This is my first adjective of many that could be used. Thank you Canon and your designers for coming up with such an easy way to install a printer...even wireless. That's right open the box, plug it in and put the disk in the portal and press load and then follow the easy to use directions from there. I kid you not I was a little apprehensive that it would work the first time, but it did. I am so pleased, and I thank you again very much. Newton

A great printer, for the price, etc. As a retired Army officer, I am OCD about products.

Wouldn't recommend Canon printers to anyone. I bought the printer because I thought Canon had good equipment and a Good Name

Bad purchase

This may be the worst purchase I have made. It is difficult to load the ink. The paper loading is also pretty poor. It jams more than a blues artist pulling an all nighter. Just horrible all the way around. It has lasted over 6 months- that is the only reason I gave it 2 stars- I was in a generous mood. I would recommend buying copy paper before you put money on this.

Terrible setup support

If you can get this printer going, then it works fine. The problem is like others have said, it took me 3+ hours to set up the wifi connection, including being on hold for over an hour with their tech support. It worked well for about two months, then inexplicably my computer stopped being able to recognize it. The "support" window that popped up supposedly showing how to navigate reconnecting it was nowhere to be found on the canon software, and really read like complete jibberish. I'm usually fairly adept with technology, and it's pretty frustrating that they've made something so inaccessible to the common public.

Noisy & difficult to follow manuals
on May 20, 2014

My Learjet starts up quieter than this machine! And the manuals are difficult to use (still haven't figured out how to print an envelope!).
Pros: fast print speed
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
