Worse printer ever

I bought a Canon MX472 printer several months ago. I was so excited because it was advertised as a great printer and wireless from anywhere in the world. WRONG! This has been the worse printer ever. After spending hours trying to get it programed for wireless it still isn't. I have used different routers, computers, laptops and still not wireless. The printing is not sharp. Now I am having trouble with it jamming and printing blurry. Yes, I have done all the things required to fix it. But this printer is just one problem after another. I would toss it in the garbage if I had another printer to use. I work from home and use a printer every day. I would not even rate this printer a 1. Don't buy it.

A Disappointment

This printer was easy enough to set up and it does print from my iPad, which is what I want it for. However, it does not come with even a basic User's manual and that is a major annoyance for me--especially since (so far, at least) I haven't been able to find/read the manual online. I do find what purports to be the manual but cannot open or download it. My big gripe right now is how to change the print orientation...but I'm sure I will have other questions later and I shouldn't have to spend hours reseaching to get an answer to a simple question.

all in one

I had purchased an all in one but had issues downloading the disc into my laptop, plus marks on paper when printing from the top instead of scanning was smugging. Returned item 2 wks. later replaced it with the same model and wow what a difference its works so much better, just need to figure out how to receive a fax now. Very happy and the price was great.

Printer is great if you want to only print and copy. will do its job when only printing is required or copying. Fax is not made for business purpose. does not have PC-to-Fax software like brother. Before buying I thought that it will be nicer that Brother machine. but I was wrong. It is not nicer that brother. cannon can do some improvements in its function. I owned two cannon printers, one printer does not work at all in two years. I am disappointed in cannon products.

constant paper jams

This printer constantly experiences paper jams and then ink gets on some imaging ribbon which is very difficult to clean.

Big Disappointment

I bought this about a month ago, and have had nothing but trouble since I took it out of the box. From a hassle in networking, to a nightmare in scanning, I am wishing that I would have stayed with HP. The time that I have spent troubleshooting is second only to the ridiculous cost that they put on this machine. The only thing that I did not try was printing photos, so maybe that will be enough for some consumers to justify their time and money. I do own an older model Canon that is great for pictures, so I will give them credit for photo quality - BUT it certainly does not make for even a decent home or small office machine.

I love all of the features the PIXMA MX472 offers

I purchased my Canon PIXMA MX472 about a year ago and am just now getting around to writing the review. I read some of the other reviews and to be honest I was shocked... I absolutely LOVE my printer. I was able to connect to my Wi-Fi quickly and have not had any problems with it in the past year. Well, except the fact that I keep running out of ink from printing so many things. Haha! I feel bad for the others who said they have had issues but in my opinion this is the BEST printer I have ever owned and I'm a graphic designer and photographer, just to name a few of the creative hats I wear while using my printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
