Best Purchase Ever

I have know Canon to have an unblemished reputation for many years. I had not used the product other than the Office at work. I did some research on Canon to purchase for my home Office and compared it to other Brands. Canon qualities stood out to me and it's affordability sounded almost to good to be true.
I Purchased my Canon and must say they truly live up to there name. It prints high quality documents and has many other great features such as Scan, Copy, Fax. Besides that the ink cartridges are reasonably priced.
Canon is my new choice of Printers. I don't know how I never considered it before but I am certainly ecstatic I made the right choice this time -- Canon the best and only choice for Printers.

Might Be A Good Printer - but i'll never know

The directions, setup menus, and online help to set up this printer are so bad I can only guess that they were written by a child who has never actually used a computer - and doesn't speak English.
This machine is not serviceable as a result. Take a look at the documentation before you buy it. Trust me.

Printer is moody! I have had to install and re-install 3X. When wireless goes down due to storms - I have to setup the printer again and again.

I like Canon products and the MX472 printer, especially requiring only 2 cartridges instead of multiple color cartridges. My only problem is there was not a simple manual to explain simple printing procedures.

Good & Disapointed

The Canon does do some ok stuff the printing runs good but at times will not line up. The print Font is very small to read, so has to be changed but most of the time does not fit on page! Depending how much you print Ink last ok! After a year still can not get the fax portion to operate. Also hard and time consuming to set up...
It will scan and email. That is far as my needs have been!

Ok with bugs

The display went out and I've tried to reinstall drivers to get it back with no progress. It is also temperamental as I had to reinstall drivers about 10 times over the last year. The Diagnostic software does not help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
