If you use the printer as a copier than try to use it as a printer ,
God luck you need it.It is the poorest printer I ever used in
my 40 years professional life.

MP Navigator is not working with MX472

The printer is ok. But the MP Navigator is not working with this model MX472. My Image Garden is a disaster. It is slow and ugly and it does not have the same features as MP Navigator. I would not recommand this printer to anyone because of the My Image Garden software

This printer does not work if you want to print wifi. Have had this for couple years and have only used 4 times. each time has to reset to print wifi. This time states it is printing but it isn't and any reset, reprogram works. I will never by a canon again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Value for a small all-in-one printer

I was looking for a printer/copier/scanner/fax that did not take up a lot of real estate in my home,but which could also print from several devices. The MX472 fits the bill for me. I was surprised at how easy it is to fax and receive faxes. Other all-in-one machines that I have used in the past, including from Canon, were too complex to set up to receive faxes for a phone line that is also used to receive calls and has an answering machine.
On the downside.... there is no duplex printing; and this printer seems to consume a lot of ink.
I have had this printer for only 1 week, and I will update this when I have more experience with this printer.

GARBAGE

The printer is absolutely trash. I have never owned a printer this terrible. Unfortunately, I threw the box away. I will be donating this to my college for lab practice. It is best to practice with the worst hardware imaginable. This is it.

Well I think is not the best one could buy, but if used for home like I do it you wont be so dissapointed except for one special thing. The OUTPUT TRAY is SO SHORT OR PAPER COMES OUT SO FAST, only thing I know is that after a few pages THERE'S PAPER FLYING ALL AROUND.

NEW SCANNING SOFTWARE IS HARD TO NAVIGATE, MAKE EVERYTHING COMPLICATED. PRINTER KEPT SAYING ANOTHER COMPUTER IS USING THE PRINTER. HAVE TROUBLE SINCE DAY 1. HAVE TO REINSTALL THE DRIVE TWO TIMES ALREADY SINCE USE FOR 3 DAYS.
