I have had a Sonicare toothbrush for over 10 years. Finally, this old toothbrush started shutting off before the 2 minutes was up. I phoned customer service and was advised the unit is not repairable. I purchased a new Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Sonic and I truly love it. It is quite an improvement to the old one I was using - love the extra speeds & intensities.

The feature I like best is the 4 sequence timer for brushing the four areas of my teeth, allowing equal time for all four and turning off when finished. Also if I accidentally touch the off button during brushing, it is still in sequence once I turn it back on. The only thing I would improve is the placement of the buttons (that I accidentally hit) to change modes. And, it might be wise to designate finger/hand placement on the brush. Replacement brushes are a bit expensive, but last a long time.

Have some trouble holding the toothbrush. Tooth paste drips down the handle and I have to clean.

It's my first electric toothbrush. I came mainly to its intuitive firm designed. Option 3 different modes cleaning very surprised about the intensity of cleaning not to mention. I was just in the first moment slightly scared price, but I think in the long run pays off. Overall, I am very satisfied with him, and I have already ordered for her two small children.
