[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this bathroom heater a month ago because my Texas sisters were going to be spending Christmas with us in Minnesota. I was worried they wouldn't be warm enough getting out of the shower.
This heater works so well! I love how it has a cool-down phase when you turn it off. The dial temperature control is easy to use, and the built in clock is nifty. It heats the bathroom easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have to have a heater in the bathroom and we love this one! The timer feature and the glow and the fan! Oh my I can't say enough about this quality heater! We didn't know such a nice heater with everything we need existed! At the most economical advantage as well. I would expect these features and quality to be more expensive. We've Always had a special place for Holmes in our heart (the last one is still going after heavy use for 20 years!), and this new one with timer and bathroom plug has made that place even bigger. Here's to another 20 years! Thank you Holmes!
P.s. I wish there were a way for it to come on with the timer to thermostat control instead of stay on mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a similar one for years but it finally went bad and I couldn't find one, so called Holmes and they pointed me to the one they had. The unique feature is a clock which we always found so convenient since we use it mostly in the master bath and it's nice to go in at night, whether the heater is on or not and know the time.

One season and done

I bought my heater last season and towards the end of winter the fan started making a grinding sound. I was excited that spring had arrived and stored the heater thinking I'd deal with it the following fall. Well, I just got it out and sure enough the grinding sound is still there. I know it wasn't a real expensive heater, but one season is all I can expect? :(

Great price...lasted almost TWO full years!

Presently, the Holmes HFH436WGL was a secondary room heater; seldom used as a backup for the guests room. This year I maintained a closed room at 65 degree setting and it would be the only source of heat in a well insulated room. After almost three months the control pad fails to function. No burning smell, just intermittent failure of ops, panel to become permanently inoperative. Great price for a piece of progressively productive seagull food! Else, weapons for oil! We do make the best!
